In the summer of 2013, a blog post from the newspaper Le Monde looks back on a concert held the previous evening.

The given image is interesting. The question mark in the middle seems to indicate we need to find who sould go here.
Let’s start by identify the ones who are already presents to see any correlations between them.

By placing the image in Google Lens, we can select each portrait individually.

• The first one seems to be James Chambers, a football/soccer player.
• The second one seems to be James Chambers, a writer.
• The third one seems to be James Chambers, a musician arranger
• The fourth one is the one we’re looking for.
• The fifth one seems to be James Chambers, an American football player.
• The sixth one seems to be James Chambers, an Irish football/soccer player.

Well. It seems we’re looking for a James Chambers homonym.

Wikipedia has a page for homonyms. Searching for “James Chambers” gives all the known ones. One entry is interesting:

Jimmy Cliff (1944-2025), Jamaican reggae musician (born James Chambers)

The question is about a concert, and Jimmy Cliff is a musician. That seems to be the good one!

As we’re looking for an article from Le Monde about a concert in summer 2013, let’s search for it with Google Dorks:

The first result is a blog post from June 13, 2013 titled “Jimmy Cliff - Mundo Latino - Reggae Night”.
We can read in the article:

[…] ont fait les délices des spectateurs de Rio Loco lors de l’ouverture du festival.

[…] delighted the spectators of Rio Loco during the opening of the festival.

In fact Rio Loco is a festival at Toulouse (France), and we can found Jimmy Cliff in the 2013 edition lineup. Notice that he’s playing on Scène Pont Neuf.

We can search Rio Loco on Google Map to find the festival place.
Now to found the exact location of the stage during his concert, we can Google Search rio loco festival map and found this map:

By looking at the map, we can see that the “Scène Pont Neuf” is located just next to the Pont Neuf bridge, on the North side of the festival.
In fact, that’s the main stage, and where the “Rio Loco” Google Map link is pointing to.

We noticed this video when searching for lineup to confirm Jimmy Cliff’s presence.
We can easily find it back by searching Rio Loco 2013 to find the video on YouTube.
At 0:34, we can see Jimmy Cliff’s picture.

By reverse image searching this frame, we can see that the picture is widely used to illustrate the artist, but almost never credited.
It seems to be an official picture tho, so let’s see if we can find it on his official website, maybe?

By searching Jimmy Cliff photo, we can found the “Photos” category of its official website.
But our picture is nowhere to be seen!

However, the picture is widely used to illustrate the artist, like “look at him, you know him, that’s Jimmy Cliff!”. Like if the picture was used as its official biography picture.
By chance, there’s a “Bio” tab on the website. Let’s check it out!

What a luck! We’re greating by the exact picture in banner! But still no information about the photographer…
But when opening the full image in a new tab, we can see the credits in the file name!
